TM R&D committed to play strategic role in nation building
CEO of TM R&D, Dr Sharlene Thiagarajah kicked off TM R&D’s first virtual town hall by reflecting on her previous aspirations when she first took on the role in 2016. She expressed how proud she was that TM R&D has now successfully played a central role in the long term growth and sustainability of TM, whereby their intelligent solutions such as CAMELIA, FORCE and SPICE.ai are being deployed in TM’s core system and network.
Dr Sharlene also mentioned that TM R&D is now recognised nationwide and globally through Smart Water Management System (SWIMS) and Early Warning, Alert & Response (EWAR) solutions respectively.
Moving forward, TM R&D is committed to bring new technology and innovation to the Group contributing to nation building and the digital economy as well as to drive Malaysia as a nation of producers, not consumers thus creating assets for the nation.
