REALIGNMENT OF 02 INTERNATIONAL ACCESS CODE TO 0065 FOR CALLS TO SINGAPORE

Following the directive from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), kindly be informed that all calls to Singapore via the existing 02 access code will be realigned to the 0065 International access code effective 16 May 2017.
 
Please note that this realignment exercise will not affect the quality of calls as well as the charges for calls made to Singapore which means that customers can continue to enjoy the service as usual at the same quality and charge rate.
 
More details on calls to Singapore (0065 access code) are as follows, depending on the current type of TM service subscribed by customers.

Customers can directly dial the 0065 access code to make calls to Singapore without activating the International Direct Dial (IDD) facility.

Customers can directly dial the 0065 access code to make calls to Singapore without activating the IDD facility.

The IDD facility is automatically activated for making calls to Singapore only. If customers wish to make calls to other countries, customers are advised to visit the nearest TMpoint or call TM Customer Service at 100for activation purposes.
 
Important note: The IDD facility to make call to Singapore will NOT be automatically activated for customers who registered for ISDN PRI/BRI or CDMA services starting 16 May 2017 onwards.
 
 
TM customers will be informed on the realignment exercise via Interactive Voice Response (IVR) upon dialing the 02 access code starting from 16 May 2017. Similar announcement will also be communicated via TM website, TM Customer Service Centre at 100, TM bill announcement as well as via letters to TM corporate customers. In addition, MCMC will publish the same announcement in selected print media.
