New Channel to Subscribe Multiple Voice Lines for UniFi Business Customers 

Multiple Voice Lines for UniFi was developed in 2011 to fulfil demand on additional voice lines service from customer at HSBB area. It was provided via an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) that connected to the Business Gateway (BG). At one time, a maximum of 16 analogue telephones can be fixed to an ATA. Currently, Multiple Voice Lines service can only be applied through TMpoint, TM UniFi Centre (TMUC) and Account Executive (A.E).

Understanding customers’ needs and expectation, TM continues to look for more ways to enhance their experience. As a result, starting from 16 January 2015, new and existing UniFi Business customers can subscribe to the Multiple Voice Lines service through TM Authorised Resellers and TMpoint Authorised Dealers (TAD).

Details of Multiple Voice Lines packages for UniFi are as per below:

IMPORTANT NOTES
  1. Multiple Voice Lines is a Value Added Services (VAS) for UniFi BIZ packages. Therefore, customer needs to subscribe to any UniFi BIZ package before subscribing Multiple Voice Lines.
  2. Installation fee of RM50 per line will be applied to existing UniFi subscribers requesting for Multiple Voice Lines. However, the maximum installation fee is RM200 if customer subscribes to more than 4 lines.
  3. For new UniFi customer with Multiple Voice Lines, the installation fee is WAIVED.
  4. The customer needs to return the ATA box upon termination. Failure to return the ATA box is subject to a penalty based on type of ATA:
      Ø  ATA 4-ports: RM350

      Ø  ATA 8-ports: RM1,000
      Ø  ATA 16-ports: RM2,000
  5. The customer must provide adequate power points and appropriate place to support all CPE provided by TM.
  6. Multiple Voice Lines can be registered via the following channels:
  7. i.   TMpoint
    TMUC (1300-88-1222)
    iii. Account Executive (A.E)
    iv. TM Authorised Resellers (New Installation and Modify Order without ATA only) NEW
    v.  TAD (New Installation and Modify Order without ATA only) NEW
  8. UniFi Business customers are allowed to subscribe to a maximum of 17 additional voice lines (1 Additional Business Voice + 16 Business Voice (ATA))
  9. However, currently we only open up to 9 additional voice lines (1 Additional Business Voice + 8 Business Voice (ATA)) for application through Reseller Portal.

BBphone Service Discontinued

In line with Telekom Malaysia’s current realignment of its suite of product offerings and also coping up with the latest telecommunication technology evolution, we wish to inform you that effective 1 July 2013, our BBphone (0154) service will be discontinued.

In view of the above, we wish to inform that effective 7 June 2013, TM will no longer offer the following services to new customer:

  1. BB Phone 
  2. Office in a Box (OIAB) Plus 

The existing customers of BB Phone and OIAB Plus will be offered alternative services as a replacement and will be migrated to suitable Voice Plan subject to customer’s approval.
