New Business Rules for Upgrade and Downgrade Packages

Starting 23 May 2013, a new business rule will be implemented for UniFi Business Multiple Lines, specifically for Upgrade and Downgrade of Packages.

This Business Rule is the first phase of an interim process for customer premise equipment management.

Background:
The issue regarding UniFi Business Multiple Line product is that there are no clear rules for SLT and DECT phone set treatment for customers who request for either upgrading or downgrading of packages (package RM45 & package RM78).

The main concern is that the customer will not have the same set as specified in the respective package details which will lead to customer complaint. The consequences are there is a potential mismatch in SLT & DECT phone sets in Malaysian Logistics (ML) & TMpoints.

New Business Rules:
  1. Upgrade Packages (from 45 to 78), frontliners are not required to provide a DECT phone. Customers are to use their existing SLT phone sets. DECT phones will be provided for new additional lines only.
  2. Downgrade Packages (from 78 to 45), frontliners are not required to provide an SLT phone. Customers are to use their existing DECT phone sets. SLT phones will be provided for new additional lines only.
