Great news for UniFi and Streamyx customers!

Now you can upgrade your internet speed, whether it’s UniFi to UniFi, Streamyx to UniFi or Streamyx to Streamyx, and continue paying your current monthly charges for the first 3 months! You only pay the new price, based on your upgraded package, from the 4th month onwards. Upgrade now at no extra cost at all.

Revised UniFi Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Replacement Pricing


Dear all.. 

Pleased be informed that UniFi Home and Business CPE replacements pricing will be revised to the following prices effective 25 April 2012. This initiative is in line with Customer Charging Proposition.



Please note that the onsite support charge (RM50) is still applicable on top of CPE replacement charges. All charges will be reflected in the customer’s subsequent month bill. 

The above-mentioned CPEs come with a one (1) year warranty which covers manufacturing defects and will start on the day replacement is made. However, the warranty will not cover: 
a)     CPE that is faulty due to force majeure
b)    CPE that is faulty due to customer negligence 
c)     CPE that is stolen/ lost while at customer premise

CPE replacements (if needed) will be done by RNO at customer’s premise upon receiving trouble report from TMUC after customers complain. Customers will have to pay replacement charge if:
a)     CPE that is replaced due to customer negligence 
b)    CPE that is replaced because it is stolen/ lost while at customer premise

If a CPE has to be replaced due to force majeure, the onetime charge for the CPE replacement may be waived depending on the discretion of TMUC’s management.



Deposit for UniFi Non-Malaysian Customer




Effective 24 April 2012, foreigner or non-Malaysian citizen will need to pay upfront deposit of RM1000 for subscription of UniFi package.


Important information:

  1. The deposit amount of RM1000 applicable for Foreigner (non citizen of Malaysia) only.
  2. The amount of RM1000 per UniFi package must be paid (cash or credit card) upfront during registration. 
  3. Registration and processing can only be done at TMpoint. Application via other channels such as TM Authorized Dealers (TAD), Customer and Reseller portal are prohibited and blocked.
  4. The deposit paid is not transferable.
  5. The deposit amount will knock off all outstanding amounts in final bill. If there is a balance, TM will refund customer in cheque form within 30 to 90 days subject to the amount due.
  6. Other business rules are similar to Commercial residential & business packages and subject to UniFi service standard Terms & Conditions.
